Terms of use

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

These Terms govern the use of the Vanari app and website (vanari.ie), owned by Cuandeoro Ltd, an Irish company, CRO 813028, with its registered office in Dublin. The conditions for buying subscriptions and placing orders are set out in Terms of sale and subscription, Right of withdrawal, Refunds and eSIM and satellite wifi terms.

2. What Vanari does and does not do

Vanari is a planning tool that offers indicative suggestions: routes, overnight stops, budget, travel notebook and voice assistant.

What has changed from the previous version. Vanari is no longer described as a service that sells nothing. Two things are distinguished.

Third-party services. Vanari is not a travel agency or tour operator, does not act as an intermediary in package travel (Directive (EU) 2015/2302) and does not book or sell accommodation, pitches at aires or campsites, transport or insurance. Third parties continue to provide those, and Vanari only informs you about them.

Vanari-branded services. The Vanari eSIM and the Vanari satellite wifi are Vanari-branded services that Cuandeoro Ltd sells and provides on its own account and under its own responsibility, on the terms of their page. They are not third-party services brokered by Vanari.

Vanari also does not guarantee the accuracy, currency or availability of the third-party data it shows (aires, third-party prices, weather, tolls, low-emission zones) and does not replace your judgement as a driver or official sources. The Travel and road safety notice also applies.

Clearance: if you enter your vehicle's measurements, Vanari plans the route respecting its height and width. For weight and length, always check the road signs.

3. Account

To create routes you need an account with your email address and a password. You must provide truthful information, keep your credentials safe and be an adult with the capacity to enter into contracts. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may not: use Vanari for unlawful purposes; operate it while driving; introduce malicious code or overload the service; scrape, reverse engineer or extract data in bulk; resell the service without authorisation; or infringe third-party rights.

5. Intellectual property

The rights in Vanari (brand, software, design, texts, generated notebooks and proprietary databases) belong to Cuandeoro Ltd or its licensors. You receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use it.

6. Plans and prices

There is a free trial period and paid plans (Vanari+ and Founder). Prices, renewal, cancellation and the places available on the Founder plan are set out in Terms of sale and subscription, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Liability

Vanari is provided "as is" and as available. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for third-party data, for decisions you take on the basis of indicative suggestions, for damage arising from driving or from local regulations, or for interruptions beyond its control. For paid services, total liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for harm to life, physical integrity or health, or consumers' mandatory rights, including those that the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022 gives in respect of digital content and services that conform to the contract.

8. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy policy.

9. Changes

We may amend these Terms and the features of the service by giving reasonable advance notice. If you do not agree with a change that is to your detriment, you can cancel your subscription (see Terms of sale). Any change in the price of an ongoing subscription will be notified to you before it is applied.

10. Governing law and consumers

These Terms are governed by Irish law. The courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence in the EU where mandatory law gives you that right.
