Travel and road safety notice

Last updated: 31 July 2026

This notice forms an integral part of Vanari's Terms and Conditions (/en/legal/terms-of-use/) and expands on their limitation of liability clause. Read it carefully: it explains what the information the App gives you is, and what it is not.

1. Suggestions are indicative and not verified

All of Vanari's suggestions — routes, overnight stops, budgets, driving times, distances, stages and roadbooks — are indicative, approximate and NOT verified in real time. They are generated from data, models and sources that may be out of date, incomplete or contain errors. They are not official navigation instructions and do not replace official sources on traffic, safety, mapping and regulations. Always check the information against official, current sources before and during your trip.

2. The User's responsibility

What Vanari does do: if you give us your vehicle's measurements (height and width), we plot the route avoiding bridges, tunnels and roads that do not allow them, and in your roadbook we tell you, leg by leg, whether that check could be made or not — naming the legs where it was not possible. Even so, as with any route planner, that check has limits: it does not replace your own judgement or official sources.

The User is solely responsible for planning and carrying out their trip and, in particular, for:

3. Third-party data — no guarantee

Information from third parties — location and services of rest areas and campsites, prices, availability, coverage and eSIM offers, weather, road conditions, tolls and restricted zones — is provided with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or currency. It may be out of date or may have changed without notice. Vanari does not control these sources or answer for them; you use them at your own risk.

4. Road safety and the voice assistant

Vanari's voice assistant lets you check your trip by voice — for example, to plan it before setting off or to have the co-driver read it out on the road — which reduces the need to handle the screen. It is not a way of using the App without looking at the screen: consulting the roadbook and the planning requires visual attention. For your safety:

Vanari is NOT responsible for accidents, fines, damage or loss arising from driving, from improper handling of the App at the wheel, or from decisions the User takes following its suggestions.

5. Budgets and estimates

Trip budgets (fuel, tolls, rest areas, consumption, etc.) are approximate estimates based on assumptions and variable data. They are not offers, guaranteed rates or price commitments, and real costs may differ significantly. Vanari does not sell or broker those services and does not guarantee third-party prices.

6. No warranty and limits

Vanari is provided "as is" and "as available", as a decision-support tool, with no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the Owner is released from liability for damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the App on the terms described here and in the Terms and Conditions.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for harm to life, physical integrity or health, or the rights that mandatory consumer law grants to consumer Users.
